One of our first outings for the new year was to Jurong Bird Park, housing over 5,000 birds, the majority of which roam freely in their naturalistic habitats or in large aviaries.
The Falconer (an expert in the use of trained birds of prey to catch game) led "Birds of Prey" show was well done and it allowed us to get close, very close, to falcons, eagles and owls.
A good family outing, lots to do and see, well serviced and includes water park-playground to cool youngsters down. 20 minutes from Orchard Road.
