Art Stage Singapore

Spent a very pleasant 90 minutes at the 3rd annual art fair held at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre today.

The sculptures and installations generally draw the most attention as the are highly visible. The gorilla made from wire coat-hangers and the electric bicycle were two of my favourites.

The was a wide array of artworks with ~130 galleries participating, predominately from Southeast Asia.

My pick of the exhibition was the incredibly life-like silicon babies, the grandmother with child and the two fox-humans, the latter an eerie if not slightly disturbing combination of man and beast.
